Bird of paradise

Use this recipe to make the Bird of Paradise cocktail using Release No.1, Barrel-Rested Amaro. This Tropical cocktail is reminiscent of a Jungle Bird with a TBDC twist. Our Winter Gin combined with our Barrel-Rested Amaro creates a bright + sunny cocktail that finishes with layers of bittersweet + slightly dry complexity.

INGREDIENTS:

1oz Winter Gin

1oz Barrel-Rested Amaro

1oz Fresh Pineapple Juice

0.5oz Rosemary Simple Syrup

0.25oz Fresh Lime Juice

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin with ice + shake vigorously to break up the ice cubes. Dump the entire contents of the shaker in to a tall Collins or other cocktail glass. Add fresh ice on top if necessary. Garnish with fresh mint.

black manhattan

Use this recipe to make the Black Manhattan cocktail using Release No.1, Barrel-Rested Amaro. The Amaro creates a heavier, more complex + bittersweet variation of the classic Manhattan made with sweet vermouth. The addition of Citrus Bitters adds a subtle brightness to cut through the spice + caramel notes of the cocktail.

INGREDIENTS:

2oz Winter Gin

0.75oz Barrel-Rested Amaro

0.25oz Panella Simple Syrup

2 Dashes Citrus Bitters

2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass or Yari and give your cocktail a long stir, maybe 20 seconds. Strain in to a chilled coupe or other stemmed cocktail glass + garnish with a fresh orange twist.
