Use this recipe to make the Bird of Paradise featuring YEAR 5 Release No.1, Barrel-Rested Amaro. This sweet + savory simple syrup also makes for an interesting twist on a Gimlet or Gin Fizz!

DIRECTIONS:

  • 250g Sugar

  • 250g Water

  • 20g Rosemary

    Add sugar and water to a small sauce pan and heat until all of the sugar has dissolved. It does not need to come to a boil. Once the sugar has dissolved remove your syrup from the heat, add rosemary, and let your herbs steep until the syrup is cool. Strain + store in your fridge for up to two weeks,
