Single strength simple syrup

Use this recipe in lots of cocktails, of course. This is the recipe we used for the Sazerac we served at the 225 CLUB Year 3 Release No. 3: Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey.

DIRECTIONS:

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup water

    Heat water and sugar over medium heat, stirring the entire time. Shut off heat after sugar is dissolved and allow to cool. Store in fridge.
