225 Club Recipes: Peach Brandy Barrel-Finished Winter Gin

No. 1 | Old Fashioned-esque

There is a reason the Old Fashioned is a staple in the cocktail game. It lets the bast spirit shine through while still adding a level of sweetness, bitterness, and dilution to create a balanced, finished cocktail.

DIRECTIONS:

  • 2 oz Peach Brandy Barrel-Finished Winter Gin

  • 0.25 oz vanilla honey syrup

  • 2 dashes Dram Apothecary Black Bitters

Build all of the ingredients in a mixing glass. Add ice and stir for 15-20 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass over a cube. Peel an orange and hold the peel in one hand. Hold a lighter in the other between the glass and the peel. With the flame lit express the peel over the glass then drop the peel on top. Serve.

No. 2 | rock
